Since 1976, SFEL has been developing and manufacturing its lighting solutions in close collaboration with its teams, customers, and local community. With our design office, production, assembly, and testing facilities all located on a single site, we are able to remain actively involved in our products, their development, and their lifespan.

Sfel employs 50 people in Saulgé, in the Vienne department, at a 4,000 m² factory.
Design office, electronics engineers, marketing department, and production area: the entire process, from design to the finished light fixture, is handled in-house. This integrated approach allows us to meet custom requests and guarantee the long-term quality of our products.

Design Better, With Less
For Sfel, eco-design means taking into account the impact of a lighting fixture from the very earliest stages of its development. Material selection, material usage, energy efficiency, modularity, repairability, maintainability, and end-of-life considerations are all criteria we incorporate into our design process.
The goal is not only to reduce a light fixture’s energy consumption during operation, but also to extend its service life and minimize its impact throughout its entire life cycle.
It is in this spirit that we have joined the luminaire-durable.fr collective, alongside manufacturers committed to organizing the industry and accelerating the transition to sustainable lighting.
Products designed to last
Our lighting fixtures come with a 5- to 10-year warranty, depending on the product line and specific product. But our commitment doesn't end when the warranty period expires.
We prioritize maintainable solutions and, when the product design allows, ensure the continued availability of the spare parts and components needed for maintenance in order to extend the service life of the equipment.
Surrounding ourselves with partners who share our region
Our industrial presence is accompanied by a commitment to work, whenever appropriate, with local or French suppliers, partners, associations, and service providers.
These collaborations help preserve expertise, strengthen our ties with our partners, and develop an industrial sector that is deeply rooted in the local community.
