Located within a 3-hectare nature park and near a chapel, the Sainte-Clotilde Middle School in Paris has completely renovated its building. This private school, founded in the 1970s, notably installed acoustic ceilings to provide sound insulation. Sfel therefore designed a product for recessed installation in this type of structure. Based on the Opali square recessed fixture, a custom luminaire was designed for installation in a specific modular ceiling. Nearly sixty recessed fixtures—measuring 600 x 300 mm, mounted from below, and featuring custom edges—were manufactured.
This SFEL light fixture integrates seamlessly into modular panels. Available with the Opali or Opom recessed fixture, this specialized light fixture is compatible with any type of suspended ceiling.

• Manufacture of a light fixture with different edges—one edge rests on the ceiling grid to allow the product to be positioned at the correct height—the other three edges are flush with the ceiling panels
• Design of a recessed fixture with a bottom-mounted installation, suspended by steel cables – The length of the cables is adjusted to align the underside of the fixture with the drop ceiling
