Located near the La Défense district in Nanterre (92), the Origine building is a commercial structure with rounded shapes, featuring a hybrid wood-and-concrete structure. This contemporary building has a facade composed of separate blocks and features modern spaces for which custom lighting was selected. To create unique lighting effects, Sfel manufactured various profiles for this recently completed building. More than thirty Sfel products—in two widths (50 or 100 mm) and lengths ranging from 700 to 2,900 mm—were produced.

• Solution: creation of two special product lines that expand the Sfel aluminum profile range—delivered floor by floor to facilitate the installation of the light fixtures.

Design of a custom housing:
• Manufacture of die sets for the various profiles
• Light fixture created by adapting a recessed fixture and an Sfel pendant
• Dimensions adjusted in length and width to match the building’s configuration
• Adaptable to the dimensions of the steel decking and can be flush-mounted
